hi there!

lately i have build my pc, it works great... for me...
the last day i tried to do a 3dmark test and found out that my system has a damn low testing score...
my score was: P4675
which seems pretty low for my GPU...

SO,
i am gonna buy a new CPU!
what i5 would be best for my build?
keep in mind i would like to put in a extra GPU when the time comes.
system specs are in SIG..

Thanks in advance!

i5 3570K if you want to be able to OC a bit if not interested in OCing the non K version you'll be able to run memory at 1600 should help a bit.

You have all the latest drivers installed for the card etc. ?

You will need to change not only Your CPU, but also motherboard to Z77 chipset if You think about CPU OC and CFx
Your CPU is definetly bottlenecking the card. I'd say - go for some better mobo and i5 3570k.
CPU: Core i5 3570k @4,5 GHz 1,18v (max. 5,0 GHz 1,32v), Cooler: Enermax ETS-T40-TA, Mobo: MSI Z77-GD55, GPU: Asus HD7950 DCuII V2 @1075/5400 MHz stockV. PSU: Corsair TX-750W RAM: Corsair Vengeance XMP LP 2x4GB @1600 Mhz

Yes, good call Mephic...that MB doesn't allow you to play with multiplier so if you stick with it, get the non K version of the CPU.

To be honest, even if you dont overclock, a 3570 etc is still plenty fast to do anything...

You'll see a massive boost from your current CPU

who cares what a benchmark test says, is your machine having any problems, besides running a marketing tool. whoops

You may even consider 'jacking' that motherboard and run a ROG under it. [while ur @ it.]
I am also not a fan of 'vengeance'.

3570 without the k then... i don't have real problems but i keep getting quite low fps on games... around 45
i won't be changing much for this build cuz i will probably be building a new one soon enough.
this comp will be downgraded to my GF shes a gamer:D
but for now this will work well!!
THANKS!
