what is the differences between strapping at 100 and 125 BLK
I have a lower cpu clock with 125, due to heat, by about .6ghz.
I notice on all the advice threads the examples are 100 and alot of new members also use 100

If you use the 100 strap you get the added benefits of being able to retain Offset Mode (SVID).

so clocking the cpu higher than the bus speed, the bus speed isn't a bottleneck?

If you use strap 1.0 and offset for OCing, your CPU can reduce it's voltage when idling and down-clock.

Using strap 1.25 you lose the speedstep and the RAM and PCIe frequency is affected with BCLK not being 100. This can be good if you want to find different values for RAM OCs etc.
