Veedo excellent result, but in my case I'm going to wait until ASUS releases their DC2T UEFI vBIOS, because I don't have another spare if it bricks it.
What would be great is to get an update soon or at least an expected ETA from ASUS Team to be released

    Spoony,
At least in my case I have not found any problem at all since I've got it.

I would suggest you troubleshooting more with:
-PSU power consumption of your PC: Maybe you need a bigger PSU to support all your HW
-BIOS: Check power & bandwith for the PCI-e, RAM and CPU power and speed, etc. Cause many things can cause the BSOD
    -Ensure your BIOS is updated
-OS Power Management: Ensure the settings there are correct.

If none of that helps, send me a message with the BSOD, plus hardware specs so maybe I can help you out (unless it's a real hardware problem with your card and needs RMA).

What is the current status of the GOP BIOS? Still in testing? I'd love to be able to enable fast boot on my M5G with Asus HD7870!

    Right on man!

I have a HD7950-DC2T-3GD5 and I just found that ASUS released an update for the BIOS last year.
After the update, I felt that the POST got faster, even tough it was already quick, but it got better. Now, If I turn on the PC and Monitor at the same time, I can`t see the post ROG logo as I did before, it`s already finishing the Windows Logo screen now.

So, doing a quick comparison, I found that the VBIOS BOOT section on the HD7950 update is the same as the one you have on your 7970:
    ATOMBIOSBK-AMD VER015.017.000.001.000000

Which means I have hybrid GOP UEFI/BIOS on my card as well.
Plus, this update gave my GPU an extra 25 MHz increment on the core clock.

This are the specs of the last update from ASUS to HD7950-DC2T

    Cheers!
