Hello,

My my ASUS G75VW BBK5 is running at 50 Celsius temperature on idle.

Is this normal? Should I clean out the fan?

When I checked this review http://www.notebookcheck.net/Update-Review-Asus-G75VW-T1040V-Notebook.76032.0.html

It says that it runs around 28C on idle. Is there something wrong with mine or does it just need some cleaning?

doesn't increase in temp on idle mean that there is something fishy going on? hehe just my thought. I haven't looked my load temp. I'll check.

I would also use core temp to check the temps.

no need to make two topics about the same thing.
you are also lacking a **** load of info for us to guess if the temp is normal.
what is the ambiant temp, what kind of surface is the laptop on, how long has it been idling, is fan filers cleaned, is it overclocked.

This is what is showing on core temp.

Load temp is around 65C.

Is that a prime load? Dose core temp report thee same idle temp? If your loaf temp is only 15c higher that's fine
