Sound in Phoebus using the DTS UltraPCII option is like being at bottom of a well.

Has anyone els noticed that if you use DTS surround it makes you sound muffled an at bottom of a well, or a tunnel. For me, its unusable sadly. yet the Dolby home theater setting is fine.Its a pity, because the new one gives nice directional cues, but the sound itself is crap :(.

untick surround sensation. i still prefer PCEEv4 as you can disable surround on the headset as I use that for gaming.

You should keep in mind to update the driver if you haven't done already (8.0.1.29).

Because the latest driver fixed the issues for me on DTS 🙂 (only check Surround Sensation)
