I am curious about the CPU temperatures across ASUS G75VW or VX series CPU Temperature.

so please, "no you're using it wrong" or "the temps are fine etc." I just want to see what others get.

What do you get when running Prime95 version 27.9 for 10 minutes? or any other prime95 version 😛

CPU: 3630QM
I get:
83°C average,
87°C Maximum
with the fans running at 3600rpm

somewhat sadly... when I start Prime95 the fan doesn't kick in... reached 96°C every single time, and it keeps rising
and the fans just derps around @2000rpm
until I quit Prime95 and wait until the fan kicks in and restart Prime95 and reset values in HWiNFO to get my temp result up there^

and I am not afraid that the temps are so high, since it's basically a standard thing.... for MacBook Pro 15" 2011
95°C for rendering video or such. when not repasted. (repasted my MBP with AS5 shaved about 5°C in high load.)

and I noticed that the GPU fan shuts off sometimes when the GPU is not in use. is this normal? for 670m GPU's?

While I'm at it 😛 Does anyone know if the Intel 6300 WiFI card works with G75VW series? how about the third antenna for it? really sad that ASUS skimps on the Wifi cards on almost all of it's laptops 2.4Ghz only...
