Asus Xonar D2X issues

Hi was wondering if anyone can help.

I purchased a brand new "Asus Xonar D2X" Sound card a few months ago and have had nothing problems with it.

I can hear a constant loud buzzing sound though my headphones or speakers when on the desktop and in all applications. When using applications such as Skype my friends can hear the buzzing as well whenever I am in the call.

After spending ages trying to solve it I seemed to have pinpointed that the buzzing gets louder when moving my mouse. I am using a "Razer mamba 2012 edition" mouse and reducing the polling rate from 1000Hz to 125Hz helps reduce this issue but not completely (seems to be some sort of interference). I never had any issues with my previous sound card "Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio" or when using my motherboard on-board audio.

Things that I have tried with no luck.

*Using the Xonar unified drivers
*Moving the sound card to a different PCI slot
*Different headphones and speakers
*Using another mouse "Sidewinder X8"
*Tied changing various settings in Xonar driver software

Full system specs

*I7 3770k
*Thermaltake lvl 10 GT
*Corsair H70
*Asus Maximus V Z77
*G.Skill Trident X 16gb
*GTX 680 Twin Frozr iii
*Corsair TX750W
*Asus Xonar D2X
*Windows 8 Pro 64-bit
*Roccat kave 5.1 Headset

Thanks in advance... 🙂

Yes both front and rear ports with no luck 😞

Surely someone else can help?

Otherwise I have just tossed £90 down the drain on a sound card that (may be) faulty.:(

Thanks....
