Seriously considering this...

I'm seriously considering this gaming option:
A curved widescreen with 3 LED projectors and Warpalizer software.

Anybody here with a similar setup?

It is all a matter of research. I have been doing research about curved screen projectors ( without having monitor bezels screwing the big picture) and I like this one so far:
http://www.simpit.co.nz/item/icarus-2-projector-system.html

"Project Icarus is here and it is officially released! - 180º of uninterrupted viewing vistas. Retail price for one of these little wonders is ~1 750,- USD and/or ~1 550,- EUR. (screen construction, mirrors, projector mounts). Add 2 cheap LED projectors and warping software and your home/gaming PC and you have the best gaming setup ever!

Systems like the Icarus give you the tremendous advantage of natural view, no eyestrain and you can spend hours flying or driving without any discomfort perfectly immersed in simulation. The huge field of view gives you unprecedented situational awareness and you can use your whole peripheral vision. Unlike with 3D googless you can multitask and use your hands to operate hotas, MFD, switches, mouse, keyboard - without interruptions and loss of immersion. The systems is 3D ready and works with most games and PCs (two outputs required).

The footprint of Icarus is 2,1m x 1,1 m which is one of the best size/FoV ratios on the market."

Have a look at other more expensive products in the page and surf each product gallery.

I saw this in Vegas and loved it until I hung around a while. They had only one section of a game optmized for it and when you went beyond that you got wierd bezel effects. I have a 120Hz projector on a 108" screen that is fun but games aren't designed for this type of viewing...
Sys 1:
RIVE \ Intel Core i7-3970X \ Corsair H100i \ GTXTitan 6BG 2xSLI \ 64GB Corsair Dominator Platinum \ Samdung 840 Pro 512GBSSDs R0 2x \ WD Black 2TBHDD R5 4x \ Corsair AX1200i \ Corsair 900D

Sys 2:
MVF*(UPGRD to MVE in May) \ Intel i7 3770K \ Corsair H100i \ Asus GTX670 2xSLI \ 16GB Corsair Dominator Platinum\ Samsung 840 Pro 256GBSSD R0 2x \ Mushkin Chronos Deluxe 120GBSSD \ WD Blk 2TB R1 HDD 2x \ Corsair AX1200i PSU \ Corsair 650D

Well, one doesn't have to go all the way as the polar simulation system.

I was thinking something more smaller like this:

Be careful what you wish for. 😉
A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station…

After consideration, and with 160 USD I can make my own wide curved screen.
