How do I enable hot swapping on Sata ports 1 to 4, windows 7, RAID mirror

Hi,

I've built a new system with crosshair V and AMD bulldozer processor, etc. I'm running windows 7 ultimate.

I have 6 hard drives and 2 DVD.

drives 1 & 2 are set up as RAID with two partitions in mirrored raids and one in stripping RAID. (2TB each)

drives 3 & 4 are not yet in a RAID so they are independent at this point. (1TB each)

drive 5 & 6 are DVDs

drive 7 is a SSD on which the OS is installed
drive 8 is an older 200 gb drive.

7 and 8 show up in the list for Safe Removal but the others do not.

I set up the RAID with AHCI. I set the DVD to IDE.

Any thoughts?

Thank you,

Mike
