Hello all!

I recently bought the Asus ROG Echelon gaming headset. Really love it, it's cool as well!

Now thing is, I'm a bit dissapointed at the bass level it offers. Sound clarity is great, very crisp, but the bass is holding back and does not give such a great feel to it when playing games like battlefield 3. The weak sound one gets from firing the weapons is very odd. Perhaps I bought a bad model or is it supossed to be like this?

I had the tactical 3D Alpha from Creative and with them was this USB adapter(built in audio driver) so I plugged them with the
USB.
Is it possible that there is a "conflict" between the two perhaps?

Ummm there is no such product as the Echelon, only the Vulcan and Orion...where did you buy it from and can you provide a link?

You serious? Its basically an Orion, but with a camo skin thats what I heard atleast.

Like I said, that's not an ASUS ROG Product...hence why I made the comment.

Hmmm, then why is it being advertised on some places as one? Still It's an Orion with a camo skin only, the difference between them is minimal according to some sites.
You have any experiance with the sound quality from the Orion? I really want to know how come the Bass is so poor on these.

Im not comparing them to the Orion pro version ofc as they have 7.1 virtual dolby.
