XMP should set it correctly is my thought exactly, i preordered this board when it came out and XMP has never worked. i am thinking its a bad MoBo
    I dont think so !!

Im sure the memory is bad, issues, and you need a RMA to GSkill.
Or maybe, you IMC is very very bad, and does not support a big MHz speeds.

    Try to 2000 MHz ( 11-11-11-31 ) 1.65v

bad RAM was my first thought but after running many memory tests on it with and without XMP on it passes every test. RMA with Gskill is a pain in the butt also as they do not cross ship so i have to take out the RAM,send them my ram and then wait for them to receive it before they send out replacement. total time down at least 1 week. not good. as i also run my business off this machine.

Why is it so critically important to run the XMP profile?
I never let the board dictate what frequencies and voltages should be.
Again, I suggest that you manually set the memory frequency, timings, and voltage in the bios.

Your ram should have two XMP profiles. If possible please try both and see which profile works best for you.
To help us help you - please provide as much information about your system and the problem as possible.
