Here's my score on Windows 7 Pro (x64) using the official drivers from ASUS, chipset drivers, IRST, Audio, Card Reader, were borrowed from the Windows 8 Driver section of the G75VW as they're the same for Windows 7:

In Windows 7 64-bit ultimate, my graphics were at 7.4

My GPU isn't overclocked and I'm using the Asus's VGA drivers for the GPU as I can't use the Nvidia's one. Perhaps that's a factor?

Yeah it's probably that because the new drivers can improve your graphic card much better in performance.

I have sometimes problems with the VGA that it disconnects the screen of the laptop and only shows the monitor screen.
