Pull two of the memory sticks and see if the issue persists.

On a sidenote, make sure your SSD drive is running the latest firmware.

Because it's unofficial at this point. The techs working on the BIOS know that it offers some much needed fixes but it hasn't gone through the complete process yet. There may even be further revisions before one is posted publicly on the ASUS website.

Raja, pulling 2 of my sticks did give me stability, it was the only way I was able to install windows as a matter of fact. Also now that you mention it, the boot device LED comes on during boot, so I'm checking for firmware updates from OCZ right now.

The boot LED coming on is not to show a fault, it is to show you that the board is in the boot process.

Your CPU's memory controller may need higher CPU/NB voltage to run four of those modules or may not be capable unless a lot of timings are relaxed. Not much we can do about some CPUs being weak in the memory controller department.

One would think that AMD's top processor would be made to work in a high end rig. I mean until winter(unless they push bulldozer back again) I have no option higher than this cpu. I'll restart after I post this and let you know what CPU/NB voltage I am at right now.

My DRAM light isn't coming on btw, should it be if there is a problem?

Ok the CPU/NB is at 1.2375. I've been increasing in increments of 0.0125 each time it restarts because I don't know how much is safe.
