Before we did it with matrix bios, but now we'll not use Matrix bios. And voltage totally unlocked, no limit. You can increase over 1.256V 🙂

Here is the trick; flash with ASUS 7970 DCU II - not top.
Than find GPU Tweak 2.2.1.4 version. Voltage totally unlocked 🙂
Your card will be downclocked, not problem. You can set it to 1200Mhz - 1.3V with Gpu Tweak 🙂

Zka! Thought you knew about this, I got a Dc2 top and it also works with non top cards 😄
It works with top bios too, I didn't even have to flash the bios.

I got it past 14k in 3dmark11(1260/1650), highest score so far. Even higher then my matrix card. Although I think it has to do with new drivers and higher RAM mem clock because the matrix clocks higher.
I got a hold of another matrix also, at last! Going to get it today, hope it's a real golden sample 🙂

Well, the thing is that my only HD7970s are the Matrix cards... I have not got to the point to flash their BIOS, they're just running fine with the one they came with...
Matrix cards are sweet. I'm glad i got a hold of another one cuz when i get fullcover blocks it will fit perfectly with one of those bridge block things between the cards 🙂
