As the title says, i'l be looking to get a high end gaming computer , may or may not be watercooling, yet to decide. May implement it into a desk.

Any suggestions on what to use?
i haven't been keeping up with the modding scene and what not so any help will be appreciated.

Budge is yet to be decided, i do have ways to get parts cheap so budget shouldn't be a huge problme.

One change to that. Two is more than enough for 99% of all multi monitor super High res sets ups.
To help us help you - please provide as much information about your system and the problem as possible.

I would say that a 3930k would be a better choice over the 3970x, Close to half the price and about 2% difference in gaming performance and around 5% difference for work. Also 680s would be a better choice than Titans as the price of a Titan won't be worth it unless you're aiming for tri-sli benchmarking. 2 680s woulod be enough for high res gaming and you can always expand if it isn't enough.

Price range? If I had all the money in the world I could do wonders, but I don't. I am often asked to build budget gaming PCs for friends/customers. If you have a tight budget, my answer would be far different than if you have $3000 to drop on this.
**i7 3770k @ 4.5GHz~ Cooler Master V8 ~ Asus Maximus V Formula ~ G Skill Sniper Gaming Series 16GB DDR3-1600 ~ Thermaltake Black Widow 850W 80+ Bronze ~ Kingston HyperX 3K 120G SSD ~ 2x WD Caviar Black 1TB
~ WD 500GB ~ 2x ASUS GeForce GTX 660 Ti TOP 2GB ~ Philips 1080p 39"**

The titans are $1k+ X 2 ??? im confused.

If $2k is the budget or a few more:
CrossHair V Formula-Z
8350
8-16gb DomGT
1 ssd - 1 7200hd
1 X amd7970 or a gtx if you prefer.
add a case and psu and ur there .. oh win7pro.or8.

Unless u r get'n Really Really good prices .. then Please, by all means, do tell.
Best of Luck

what do you have to spend on core components? (cpu/mb/gpus/psu/ram)

if you can keep storage, displays and peripherals out of your budget, it will help people make more accurate suggestions..
Motherboard Asus ROG Rampage IV Formula x79
CPU Intel i7 4820k Ivy Bridge-E @ 4.6ghz
GPU(s) 3 WAY SLI -- EVGA GTX 680 SC Signature (2GB)
Displays 5140x1050 @ 120hz using 3 x Samsung 2233RZ
RAM 16 GB 2133mhz G.Skill RipJaws Z
PSU LEPA G Series G1600-MA
Case Cooler Master Cosmos II Ultra
Storage Vertex 3 256 (Games), Intel 320 Series 128 (OS), + 4TB HDD

Look at my signature. not counting the case, monitor, or HDDs I have $1300 tied up. Now running RAID0 on 2x SSDs(preferably 120gb) would be very benifitial, but then you're gonna have to buy graphics. If you want to give me a specific wishlist, or list of ideas, then we will start chopping $ until we find something that works. I can tell you that I have absolutely no problems playing EVERYTHING on full ultra. Even Crysis 3. So for a budget build while still keeping in the High end class the 660 Ti would do nice. Ans then, like me, add a 2nd later on down the road. I also started with 1 SSD, and will add 2x new ones sometime soon. I will then dedicate my current ssd to hdd cache for my storage drives.
