    Memory issues Max V Formula

Built brand new system with a Max V as base. Gave me problems from the first boot. Initially blamed the Corsair SSD as they have known problems. Replaced tried with Seagate HDD and then a Kingmax SSD. But the problems persisted.

System was generally flaky failing to install drivers and windows updates successfully, and would frequently BSOD with the most common error being memory management.

Found Trident X profile in the bios and selected that =failed to boot to post, removed battery to clear and get to boot.

So I decided to run memtest86 as suggested by this site.

    Both sticks in = >100 000 errors.
tested each stick separately in the slot closes to CPU = 0 errors therefor Ram is OK
Tried 1 stick in any other slot = errors

Now running smoothly with 1 stick.

From this I think the Motherboard is faulty.

Any suggestions or fixes before I return it.

Welcome to the Republic of Gamers, Jack D.

Try testing each module individually in the DIMM_A2 slot. Any errors?

My mistake it was running in the A2 slot

Tested both modules in the A1 slot with no errors, both B1 & B2 show errors.
