Yeah, no way a cut down Titan will cost more than Titan so 599 to 699 seems about right

So they JUST released... I don't understand why they have relatively low core clocks for a brand new product. Particularly Asus which is the one I would want to buy :

    Yet some are reaching 1000mhz+

Because core clock comparison only matters if you are comparing the same architecture. The 780 for example has slightly higher clocks on reference design than the Titan but it's not actually faster heh. Think of the 780 as a Mainstream Titan card It is actually the fastest thing you can get besides a Titan and the price is not bad for what it is. The performance improvement over 680 is rather big

Getting these cards seems like a good idea. From the next NV design (Maxwell) I expect a lot of turmoils in the industry. Everyone is pushing for Heterogeneous System Architecture (HSA)..Which means no more CPU/GPU distinction. "One processor to rule them all." Intel, AMD and NV are all going that way and NV seems to be holding all the cards right now... You can expect a lot of changes in the coming years. Things are heading towards ARM architecture for the time being.. And the giant who secretly grins is Google.

Yeap, the GTX780 is out! So far I could see only the reference design cards... I guess, a little bit later will come the ones modified by each manufacturer too... - curious if an Asus GTX780 DCII TOP or an MSI GTX780 Lightning could beat the Titan...

I really am starting to get very agitated with Nvidia on the GTX 780... The ones worth buying for the money, such as the EVGA ACX Cooler model, is ALWAYS UNAVAILABLE. I don't want to hear all this crap about how wonderful it is when it sells out in the first tens minutes and has remained unavailable since... If they can't make enough product to even last an hour on sale then they need to shut up and stop spamming their ads.

Hmm....If your setup is in a case I don´t rate that cooler much.....vents all the hot air in your case where you don't want it. The reference design is great and pushes air out of your case....these cards are fine running hot so reducing 15% is nothing (and 15% is probably best case for marketing so real world will be half that). If you want to OC etc. and want to really lower your temps you will want to go watercooled anyway...

I had 2 680s with the DCuII design....and they were terrible in a case...

The reference cards are a really nice design in my opinion.....actually was sad to replace mine...
