Anyone already played the new game metro last night?

Is it good optimized? Not like the previous game, that you need a hardcore gaming system to play it on High?

I'm going to play it today. i'm looking forward to it i hope i can play on high/ultra

Metro: Last Light

the game is great but don't expect to play it at high settings at 1080p
you can play it on high but you'll only get 30 fps or less

normal (medium) settings works fine. almost constant 60fps on a 670M card OC'ed @750/1700.

don't get me wrong. the game looks just as amazing on normal settings! well apart from textures and some other stuff

would be really nice if the d!cks at 4A would make a Advanced video settings though. since the shadows at high and ultra are really taxing 😕
but that's how the game is.

Actually after the Patch playing on high is very playable at 55fps as average 😄
I mean the shadows doesnt bug anymore and is smoother now, less random slow down in fps
and be able to change the FOV is boss, a lot better than I anticipated
can only get better with newer Nvidia drivers and possibly new patches 🙂

Pretty awesome game is it played the first hour very good 😉 and very nice textures.

i play it on 1920x1080

Settings: everything on ultra except: (around 30-50 fps mostly around 45) Overclocked

MSAA (SSA) is 0.5X
Tessellation off

But you are playing on a lower resolution so it will be easyer to pull your graphics higher then me.

FPS meter from notebook.com:

Metro: Last Light (2013)
low: 62.5 fps
med.: 50.2 fps
high: 27.4 fps
ultra: 14.3 fps

Note these tests are on 1920x1080 so you wil gain more FPS with your display.

I'm now having an issue that my GPU only works 20% on the game... having no problems with other games but now only on metro my graphic card doesn't want to work hard on that game…
Well I’m waiting for an new update or maybe it will pass away this issue.

I am curious about this game but will hold off a little... After Dead Space 3 I'm waiting for my next "epic" gaming experience. In the meantime playing Warframe, quite interesting.

Yeah Dead Space 3 Was really good 2.

But i only played about 65 hours really loved the co-op but its little boring if you have the best items played a few times out the hole game on hardest mode. Solo and after Co-op
But i really hate is that Co-op partners don't wane play on hardest difficult or they are using the finger gun 😛

i hope there comes Dead Space 4 but it most be like Dead Space 1-2 playing around small rooms and not those big areas like dead space 3 but it was still good 😉
