Hi! I already bought a new charger for my g74Sx
in amazon, unluckily it's not a 150watts charger
no question for that it's not worth using since its
only 120watts.

my question is:
1.Can I use 180watts for G74Sx then?
2.Is it safe to use a universal charger with the same specification for g74Sx except it's higher on wattage?
3.Why does G74Sx the only g7 series that does not support 180watts charger?
(Feel free to pick 1 of this 3 or answer it all if you wish ^_^)

There have been reports that the G74 has hit 170W's on a Kill-A-Watt meter. So you need more! your degrading performance, i think.

I think the 180watt charger should be fine.

If it's the ASUS 19V/180w charger, it should work okay, but if it's third party, be sure to watch out for the voltage, plug size, 'center pin positive', and other specs etc.

Customers can find the hotline number for their country from the ASUS website if they want more suggestions from their local ASUS support to track down the ASUS charger.

it really a good news to have 180watts compatible to G74Sx, though I already bought a 150watts Pwr+ Adp-150nb d charger from Amazon, since I can't find 180watts charger.

There always be a next time though.
Anyone know where to buy 180watts charger that is compatible to G74Sx, even Universal 180 watts, or can I use the
G75 [it's 180 watts right?] charger in G74Sx? . .
