    Although this question is serious!
It 's different to say: "can not guarantee that it works with any of them as they can not test them all"
And instead: does not work with any of them, unless it is asus!
In the file that I find in the installation directory, seem compatible mainboard only the following:

    [Support_But]
    SABERTOOTH-Z77 = 1805
    P8Z77-V = 1805
    P8Z77-V-DELUXE = 1805
    P8Z77-V-PRO = 1805
    P8Z77-M = 1805
    P8Z77-M-PRO = 1805
    P8Z77-V-PRO-THUNDERBOLT = 1805
    P8Z77-V-PREMIUM = 1805
    MAXIMUS-V-GENE = 1604
    MAXIMUS-V-EXTREME = 1604
    MAXIMUS-V-FORMULA = 1604
    P9X79-DELUXE = 3203
    P9X79-PRO = 3203
    P9X79 = 3203
    P9X79-LE = 3203
    Rampage-IV-Extreme = 3301
    Rampage-IV-Formula = 3301
    Rampage-IV-Gene = 3301
    SABERTOOTH-X79 = 3203
    M5A97-EVO-R20 = 1302
    M5A99X-EVO-R20 = 1302
    M5A99FX-PRO-R20 = 1302
    SABERTOOTH-990FX-R20 = 1302
    M5A97-LE-R20 = 1302
    M5A97-R20 = 1302
    SABERTOOTH-990FX-GEN3-R20 = 0226
    CROSSHAIR-V-FORMULA-Z = 1101

    Some answers ?

p.s. I hope to solve by asking a friend who has, SABERTOOTH 990FX-R20

    best regards

There is one misunderstanding here. The "can not guarantee that it works with any of them as they can not test them all" refers to the actual UEFI GOP firmware, not the flashing tool. The flashing tool checks for what it knows only. Should it have a "force" option? Probably yes, with a big fat disclaimer that you're risking a brick if your motherboard doesn't actually support it.

Using Rampage IV Ex. and Asus GTX 690. This is what comes up. I'm on 3602 bios, latest Geforce drivers and Windows 8 64bit.

In addition to the mainboard supported, windows 8 must be installed in UEFI mode, or is o.k. although normally installed "no-mbr UEFI-mode"!?
    thanks...

This are my experience with this freaking tool. I have Windows 8 Pro install in Raid 0 in my ASUS P8Z77-V Premium board not OC at all CMOS completely clear and set at defaults, When I got done installing Windows 8, I download this tool and ran the tool and exacted the same picture as above I had on my screen with a big FAT green check mark on the MB icon and a big FAT red mark on my card. I only had one card installed at the time. One thing I notice that while the tool was searching (4) big load beep I hear from my screen after the got done searching close the tool windows reboot and no screen at all then I told my self I break the F... card, F... Well not really cause I pull my 670 from my premium board and put it in my Maximus 3 Gene computer and walla card is working. conclusion 1 figure: then I install in my Premium board my second card not test it with the tool and not glory what so ever, no picture, went to bios at advance tab graphics settings and no card recognized. I was doing all this with my iGPU okey, then came to conclusion that some how this tool mess my PCI-e lanes, but maybe not cause I'm using my Thunderbolt monitor with my iGPU. WHAT POSSIBLE COULD HAPPEN, THAT AFTER USING THIS TOOL NONE OF MY CARDS CAN BE USE IN THIS MOTHERBOARD NOW, EVENTHOUGH THE CARDS BOTH ARE GOOD COUSE I TEST THEM ON MY maximus board. I even clear so many times my BIOS, even pulling the battery out foe 1/2 hour. and last but very last but very thing I did cause I have a spare BIOS CHIP and I change that as well and no GLORY to have the BIOS recognized my or any of the GTX 670 cards. CAN someone explain me what I did wrong. Which in the other hand I now what I did wrong, and that was use this freaking tool but that's beside the point of not returned now. Can some GURU black, green brown belt can help me out, beside buying a new board. TIA guys.

    Tested and works with:
    SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0 (BIOS 1708)
    and
    MAXIMUS V GENE (BIOS 1707)

    Both with a GTX670-DC2-2GD5 (BIOS 80.04.31.00.40 - P2004-0005)

Windows 8 Pro 64bit - installed in UEFI mode.

I own a GTX 670 DCII Top card. I read through the log files and noticed that the UEFI installer checks for the original bios that my card came with, which is 80.04.19.00.AS02. My card did not have this version bios on it because I previously updated it with a newer version ASUS had released about a year ago, which is 80.04.19.00.AS03. The installer kept failing because of this. So i found the older version on techpowerup (80.04.19.00.AS02), and flashed it to my card. Then I ran the UEFI program, and it updated my card without any problems.
