Asus VG278H 3D Monitor



I can't find any information on the release date of this long awaited monitor. They have been talking about it forever and it was shown at CES. Does anyone know when it will come out? I want one for my new gaming build.
New ROG PC built Nov 2011:
Asus Maximus IV Extreme-Z
Intel Core I5-2500K
(2) EVGA GTX 580 Superclocked in SLI
Corsair 600T
Corsair H100 Liquid CPU Cooling
Corsair AX1200 PSU
Corsair Force 3 128GB SSD for boot drive
8GB Red Corsair Vengeance @ 1600 Mhz 9-9-9-24
1.5 TB Western Digital Caviar Black
Asus 12x Blu-Ray Writer


Built my first PC at age 12, Pentium III @ 450 Mhz.

This is also relevant to my interests. I would be interested in both release date and pricing if any of that information is available at this time. Otherwise I am considering the new Samsung 27" 120hrz LED backlit that was recently released. (S27A950D)

nicee im looking forward to this monitor, theres a handful of 3D vision ready 23" monitors while there's only a few 27", is there any set in stone specs released about this monitor? i wana say it has a built in emitor for the 3D glass's i read somewhere lol

I have been reading up on the new ATI 3D for the past couple days and what I've seen is ATI doesn't require the 3D glasses or the emitter...It Just Works!...I like that because I wouldn't be able to find my mouse if I had to take off my glasses
