Asus VG278H 3D Monitor

I can't find any information on the release date of this long awaited monitor. They have been talking about it forever and it was shown at CES. Does anyone know when it will come out? I want one for my new gaming build.

So... Anymore about this monitor, I've been waiting, excuse me, ALOT of us have been waiting for about, I don't, a year now for this sucker to release. Is there any hard facts about when this thing is going to come out?

If I were ASUS I would release it before Battlefield 3 comes out, and that's October 25th. So I'm counting on you ASUS to make the right decision. (come on, I know you like these: $$$$$$) So pretty please with sugar on top release the damn thing already!

Why is everything I'm finding on google say no display port? ASUS got no love for eyefinity?

Sooooo...

Is this display in fact going to be released this month. People have said "October" but I distinctly recall that there has never been any source provided to substantiate this claim.
It will be showcased at blizzcon they say, which means nothing to me. I mean this thing was flaunted earlier this year and now, having clicked on the blizzcon advert pasted all over the boards gives no indication of the products whereabouts, being that it is not a listed in the "product booth" section (whatever you call it).

So judging from this I'm being lead to believe that this display is a hoax and ASUS is leading us (those who are interested) on as to not buy from a competitor on the dangling hope that the display may actually see thae light of day.

Please someone OFFICIAL step up and prove me wrong. I want to be wrong about it. Really I do. But until proven otherwise then I am certain we're getting vapor blown up our "you know whats".

TIME TO CHIME IN ASUS.

I was really hoping to have this monitor in time for BF3. Its going to be tight though waiting for geforce and blizzcon. We shall see.
