Curious, how did you install the LMS driver?

Looking to upgrade my ME, as I understand it I can't upgrade from 7.x straight to the latest 8.x, I have to flash to a earlier one first. I've been following the instructions in this thread, but I get the following output from MEInfoWin64.exe:

I'm worried about the line that says "Error 1002: Failed to retrieve Intel (R) ME FW Version" - is that something to worry about?
Also, where do I get fptw64 from? I've only got FWUpdate (FWUpdLcl64.exe) ?
EDIT: Resolved myself I think, I flashed my 7.x ME firmware to 8.1.10.1286, and then to 8.1.40.1416, and upgraded the MEI drivers. My output now looks like this:Intel(R) MEInfo Version: 8.1.10.1286

Does this look ok? My GBe version is 1.3 when others are 1.5 - is that anything to be concerned about?
