    For gaming it probably doesn't really matter if you're just going to use 2 sticks to keep your IMC happy...now if you were doing a lot of heavy OCing, then you'd want the 4GB modules as the CPU isn't addressing such high densities....as i've found out myself, this is why the best OCing RAM generally comes in kits with 2GB sticks

    Total capacity in GB is a less of a stress to the IMC than total number of sticks.
