what thermal paste to buy?

as the title says whats best thermal paste to get?

edit: also anyone have a cool pad for they g75? would make any diffrents to get one since the only holes are under the RAM just about ... and trust me i`m going to need maybe a cool pad even after the repaste job... here where i live we get even a 40C in summer and air condition might not keep up :P

IC Diamond or Arctic Silver... And there is no need for a cooling pad, though I wouldn't say so in those temperatures, its up to you.

MX-4 or IC Diamond. A cooling pad is not very useful, the bottom of the G75 is made from plastic which does not conduct heat very well and the venting is minimal.

and what if i take the 2 plastic caps down ... would the cooling pad not help better? or maybe even drill some holes under the fans ... there is someone here on board that has done that.

IC diamond i cant seem to find mx-4 i do... artic silver looks kind of crap to me.. MX-4 contains no metal and is not electrically conductive eliminating the risk of a short circuit.

also this one here (COOLERMASTER RG-ICE2-TA15-R1 IC ESSENTIAL E2 THERMAL COMPOUND) i was told is good better then the AS5 or ZALMAN ZM-STG2 or ZM-STG1

@nir0, if you're talking about as5 being electrically conductive, it's not. many are getting the wrong idea about this.
