Bios doesn't detect 750 hard drive g75vw

Well after a crash on windows 8, I turn of the notebook manually, but at restart it goes straight to bios screen doesnt recognize the original hard drive,so cant boot or do anything on windows, I dont know what to do, any suggestions?

Well sounds like your hard drive crashed? can you verify that in your BIOS the hard drive is not recognized. If not you can open the back and pull the hard drive and reseat it. You might get lucky and just have a weak connection?

I did that, in the bios the slot appear occupied but no recognized to use it to boot, doesnt say anything just that something is connected

Well if it was windows 7 I would say drop in your Install DVD and run a repair install. Since its window 8 and no one seems to have a window 8 DVD I'm not sure how you run a repair install to repair your boot sector. However if your BIOS is not recognizing your hard drive as a hard drive? it may be totally crashed. In which case you'll have to deal with Asus Tech support because your recovery partition is on that disk!
