I love the backpack. It perfectly fits my G750JZ and backpack is not as big as I thought.

So UPS delivered my new R.O.G. Nomad backpack last night. I must say , it is a beauty !! I will test fit all my gear today after work to see just how much it can really hold.

Upon opening up the box and shredding off the plastic bag I started looking for blemishes and any other workmanship issues that I have experienced with other backpacks in the past. I found almost nothing wrong with the workmanship except for one loose thread which I quickly burned and let it melt so that it did not try to work itself loose and cause the seams to begin pulling apart.

Zippers: They seemed to be pretty good quality. Not the best I have seen, but definitely not the worst.

Storage Compartments: Very nice pockets and sleeves for most anything you would want to pack for a LAN party or travel trip.

Exterior: The exterior of the bag is really nice to look at. I like the red trim and accents, and the fact that the bottom is not perforated and holds it's shape pretty well. It is not solid , but it is rigid enough to keep anything from chewing it's way through it from normal wear and tear I would think.

Interior: The inside of the backpack is well padded and soft. I have no worries of my gear becoming scratched or gouged if it is placed properly within the pockets as designed. The laptop area is well padded as well. I could not tell just how thick the foam inside the liners is , but it seems to be more than adequate to keep things protected. I may look into an additional padded sleeve though just to make sure.

All in all I an really pleased with this purchase. If you can find it somewhere I do recommend that you get one. You already paid a pretty penny for your laptop, why not spend a little more to make sure that it is protected when you decide to take it out to play elsewhere.

I would post photo's, but I think all the images on ASUS' website have it more than covered.

OK, I've had the bag for a little bit now and I have noted one bad thing about it. Neither one of my keyboards will fit in it. I have the OLD SCHOOL Logitech G15 with the fold down LCD screen and a Razer Anansi. They are both too long. Oh well, not a major deal as everything else fits.

    1- G750JM w/ PSU
    2- MadCatz R.A.T. 7 MMO
    3- Razer Naga Epic
    4- 2GB USB HDD
    5- iPod Classic 80Gb
    6- iPad w/ Retina
    7- Wacom Intous 4
    8- 2x Glasses w/ case
    9- Notepad & Pens
    10- Kindle (Keyboard)
    11- Misc. cables & connectors

So I am going to find a keyboard that will fit and will have everything I need to travel and play and still have room for other odds & ends. I am really glad I decided to purchase this backpack, even if it was a bit on the expensive side. \m/
