Should Watch Dogs play better on my setup?
I recently sought help via a post called What am I doing wrong? Memory running very slow. I couldn't get my system to run at the speeds it should. That problem is solved and now I have the system running at the expected speeds (see below).
My new problem / worry is that I can't get Watch dogs to smoothly run at 1080P on ultra, and sometimes even high isn't so good. I've seen plenty of folks saying they can do it with similar, or even inferior gear. Am I doing something wrong, or might they be stretching the truth? I should point out that my son inadvertently installed Watch Dogs on a mechanical drive, not the SSD other games are on. I don't think it should be a problem. BTW, I actually have a 1200P monitor, but if it won't do 1080P it obviously won't do 1200P.
Quite frankly, my son finished the game, but we figure if we can get Watch Dogs to play well on ultra then pretty much anything will. I think we should put the ASUS DirectCU II TOP 280X I have in the system, but my son talked me into keeping the MSI 760GTX in it. He likes some of the nVidia extras. I do think the 280X would do much better. I had the 280X in my signature because I was planning on putting it in the day I created the signature, but I didn't install the 280X and forgot to update my signature until now.

its the game issue. Its smooth however if ure using 4-6gb GPU VRAm.
Try setting texture to medium instead of high/ultra.

Thanks, I'll do that.
The 280X has 3GB, that's too low as well I guess. Bummer.Maximus VI GENE | ASUS GTX 760
