Swiftech H220 on the way

I decided this is the best option for me at this time.I ordered it from frozen CPU along with 2 Noctua NF-F12s for push and I will use the Stock helix fans for pull.Although that may not fit and if that's the case the noctuas will be used for just push.
Later down the road I can always expand the system with a Alphacool ST30(360) or a XSPC AX360 RAD with some extra tubing and fittings to add the GPUs to it.
Ive got to figure out where to mount the swiftech outside the case if I do that though. For now the H220 wil be in the top of the HAF X.
And there is always the option to sell the 680s and get a 690:cool:

Once you get your kit let us know how it works please, I have never used that particular WC kit.
To help us help you - please provide as much information about your system and the problem as possible.

HiViz - here's some very basic & preliminary results with a H220 / i7-4770K / Z87 Expert in a Carbide 500R ...
... the H220 is in a push/pull case top exhaust config, with 4 of the Cougar CF-V12HPB fans at 100% :

22560

I had some MX-4 laying around, & used that for the initial mount ...
... will be re-mounting with some PRO-PK1 shortly, & would expect the #s to improve a little ...

I would advise if you want to go push pull, that you put one of each fan on push and its partner on pull. You may get strange noises if you have 2 different fans (and fan speeds/pressure) on a push pull.

Would also like to know how it works, I'm using the H2O 320 EDGE HD from Swiftech. Very impressed with its capacities. Would like to see their new kit do as well.

Hmmm. Thanks, I never thought of the fan speed/pressure noise thing.I doubt I'll have the enough room between the top of the case and the mobo to do push pull anyway. I should be able to begin the rebuild Tuesday night since the mobo is scheduled to be here by then.
And im sorry to admit this rebuild will be with a G1 Sniper 3 board. This will be my 4th mobo for this 3770k system and it better not give me any trouble. (Im waiting till next year to go haswell/MVIF)
Frozen CPU shipped the H220 and fans today so it should be here wed since thay are right next door in New York.Im in centre county PA.
I will post some build pics as I build the rig....again...

Getting ready to install the H220. I know its not a rog board.Just keep in mind that I began this build a couple months ago and got 2 bad asus boards in a row.I will give them another chance in mid 2014 with a MVIF haswell build.
I will install the h220 tomorrow afternoon when its supposed to arrive. Damn, I already looking at some 120 and 240 rads to expand already...

Im sort of leaning towards a black ice SR1 120 to put into the hard drive cage.

Yea, that and the asus boards came to the market late and the formula is even later....

I'm giving asus two weeks or I may also get the G1. ( The formula is what stopped me from getting the G1 already )

I also may get the H220... but could go custom loop EK H30 360 kit if I am completely nutz.

look forward to seeing your install 🙂

By the way, are you going to get a cougar fan for the front to? I was planning on getting a few of them for my build in my carbide Air 540.

I love my couger fan in the back. Such good airflow.
Ill keep the stock front but I may change the tops to bitfenix 900rpm green led fans. I saw some big yellow noctua fans in a computex video that I would like to get if there 200mm.

22023220242202522026220272202822029Hello all.
I got everything set uo and I have to say that so far this cooler has exceeded my expectations. It is so quiet I cant even hear it running--at all.
I had to grab a hold of the tubes to verify water flow.Of course I have the pump hooked up to the cpu header and the fans on a noctua y cable and plugged into a system fan header.I need to get into the bios and learn how navigate it and control the pump and fans as it seems to be running at minimum speeds which is okay for now at stock cpu speeds.Temps are running at 24c idle.5c less than the DH-14.
I was even barely able to fit the NF-F12s on the bottom for push pull with no wierd sound effects in this config. Now its time to get benching.
I just ran cinebench 3 times and temps maxed out at 48c...(At 3.9 ghz)
I would also like to add that the audio on the sniper is incredable. The best I ever heard. It puts my Xfi fatility gamer pro discrete sound card to shame.
One I figure out the bios and get this to 4.6 I can see how the cooler really performs. And I will install the other 680 tommorow.
Cheers

So, Intake from top of case pushed into the case, and then airflow from the front pushing cold air into the graphics card and out the Gfx card port.

Probably the same config I will do with my build unless I go custom loop.. the custom loop will require the front of my case to fit the larger radiator.

Looks good so far man. Any reason you did not go with 4 Noctua fans?
