Maximus V Formula Raid0 + Trim question - Republic of Gamers Forum - 353407

Hi,

I have MVF + 2x Corsair Force GT 120gb connected to intel controller in raid0. I want to check if TRIM support is enabled for me. Trimcheck.exe returns "TRIM appears to be NOT WORKING".

MVF Bios version: 1803
Corsair Force GT both have firmware version: 5.05
Intel rapid version: 12.5.0.1066
RAID OROM: 11.5.0.1582

I've also tried 11.7 IRST driver. No change. Do I need to change my bios to one with modded OROM (12)?

Still no luck with raid0 trim with 1803 bios (from asus - no mod) 😞 tried changing sata cables, disconnecting other devices. AS SSD still shows 900mb/s read and 300 write speeds.

What else can I try ??? Any ideas ?

I've changed ssds to kingston hyperx and reinstalled win8. Same thing. On stock OROM and 12.7.2.1936. Everything except my system raid array drives is disconnected and disabled (both asmedia controllers). I've installed win8 with F6 and selected drivers 12.8.0.1016, same for stock orom+drivers, and run WinSat from cmd. My drive is shown in defrag tool as ssd and optimization seems to work. Hdd diod is on for long time with short intervals and hdd is not responding. trimcheck.exe was positive for some short time after clean install but its gone now. Changing to black Intel SATA ports doesn't change anything, only read speed is limited to sth like 530MB/s, write always 424MB/s.
