AC wireless card for G75VW??
Does anyone know if there is an AC Wireless card out to upgrade to on my G75VW?
I have the Asus Router that supports AC but my G75 doesn't have the card.
I knew about this awhile back when I purchased the Router but was checking to see
if there is now one that can be put in my G75.
Please let me know if anyone does
_Thanks

I would be interested by this information too...
There is some external usb wifi ac card...
There is some "good" internal "dual band" wifi car (not ac), like Intel 6235...
But I don't find laptop intenal wifi ac card.
May a "Intel Wireless-AC 7260" be used for example?

I'd call ASUS on this one. From what I gather, we'd need the "whitelist" of devices that can be used with the G75 motherboard.

I found this http://www.linksysinfo.org/index.php...tebooks.68662/ link.
seems it will work, for $30 its worth a try.
I am going to order it tomorrow and will give updates as soon as I install it.

The issue is if you ask Asus they will just tell you they don't "Recommend It" I've given up on them long ago with stuff like this lol.
So I will just buy it and see for myself.

Here is the Spec sheet for the adapter https://www-ssl.intel.com/content/da...ooth-brief.pdf
Looks like the Win7 Driver isn't out yet but the are supposed to have released it Q2'2013. http://communities.intel.com/thread/...rt=15&tstart=0
So I will just buy it and wait till they release the Win7 driver.
The Win8 driver is the only one that has been released so far.

I am told by ASUS the card is integrated but the pictures just make it look like it's not easy to get to and that's all. I really hate the atheros wifi card and I want to replace it. please keep this thread updated.

i'm running a intel wireless-ac 7260 now (on a g55). it works (overall performance is fine; but the signal fluctuates with time; the symptoms is lesser after i have updated the driver to the latest 1.6.1.0.14). waiting for my .ac router to be here for further testings.

Do you get better overall quality than the Atheros Card? Better range and overall stability?
