Sonic Radar part of driver?

Hi,

Is Sonic Radar part of the audio driver or a separate program/app?

Not on utility disk for hero board.

I have the same question, please how to run or install, when it isnt on disk?

It must be part of the driver. I have the Hero and only I only installed the Realtek driver, chipset, lan and sata drivers all from the Asus support site. I installed nothing from the supplied cd and it showed under my programs and a notification icon showed up.

Yes it shows there, at least on Win7 Pro. It is also in Add/Remove programs the Control Panel since I uninstalled it from there.

Didnt u say u have a MVIG in this post, but now u say u have a Hero.

I own the MVIG, MVIE and the Hero in different builds. I guess I'm just a habitual ROG user. There are worse things to be addicted to.

Absolutely will get MVIF when it becomes available. Not the Impact though. These replaced the Z77 Dlx and MVF. I didn't like the built in barbs on the MVF.

It's bundled with the sound driver, no clue why to do it that way but they did.

It's basically also the only difference between downloading it from Asus or Realtek themselves, because the skin for the realtek drives comes with the Realtek version. Sadly Asus has chosen to offer no other audio software with these premium boards then the basic realtek stuff. 😞

Sonic Radar doesn't count as an equalizer or sound enhancing tool to me, or really useful on any level for that matter, but that is up to personal opinion. When I install the driver, I immediately uninstall it and the sound functions without problems.
