Hello to who ever may read this
thanks to those who comment and for reading this, I am building a new Computer ,but i'm unsure if all the parts fit ( mainly the ram). Also what i would like to know is if one of my components is to good for the other e.g it cant use it to the max potential . Although my graphics card is slightly OC , i don't not intent to OC anything else.
Well for gaming this rig will work just fine. If you ever do any video encoding or 3D design you may want to add some RAM but otherwise you should be fine.
Another addition would be a 1 TB HDD, or larger depending on what size of a game library you plan to have. Personally I'm a pretty big fan of the Seagate Barracuda series but Western Digital makes great drives as well.
Your motherboard will set the voltages automatically so you won't have to worry about that. Also that RAM should be perfectly compatibly with 4th gen intel processors.
the case comes with 3 fans do you think i will need to get more ? Also by the motherboard setting voltage automatically if it runs at 1.65 will it drop the ram speed and the voltage unless i overclock if the motherboard is only designed to hit 1.5 volts . so it can run higher ? and thanks for the feedback so far proudpiper =D
The motherboard is not designed for only 1.5 the motherboard is designed to run within the available range of voltages found in the bios. So technically you could go way past 1.75 volts if you wanted with little stress to the motherboard.
However do what KKN has suggested set XMP profile for your memory and leave it at that.
To help us help you - please provide as much information about your system and the problem as possible.
its a pnp memory will it still have a XMP profile.. might be a stupid question... but ive seen XMP next to other memory's , so i'm unsure it it will have a XMP Profile. and thanks for the replies guys :). also i presume i set this in the bio's
