Has anyone successfully installed Windows 7-64 on M6F to GPT partition (Im using twin Samsung 840 Pro's in RAID 0) under UEFI ?

    Been following Noden's Guide here:

    http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread...allation-Guide
RAMPAGE Windows 8/7 UEFI Installation Guide

But I don't have the same BIOS screens as he shows. I have tried letting Windows do the RAID (as to my understanding the guide suggested) and using the Ctl-I option at boot to have Intel set up the array. However when it comes down to installing Windows, after loading the driver (F6) I still am only presented with two partitions (NTFS) instead of the 4 (GPT) using that method.

I managed to get to 3 partitions using this method
    http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials...e-windows.html

    - - 100.0 / 95.0 - System (Healthy EFI System Partition)
    - - 128.0 / 128.0 - MSR Reserved (Does not show under Disk Management)
    - - 476.0 / 476.0 - Primary (NTFS, Healthy)

Also tried these BIOS settings, w/o success same result as above.

But that's as close as I have gotten.

Unfortunately you did not mention anything about installing Win7, I thought you were installing 8. Also the guide implies no such thing.

RAID arrays can be set up either via the normal Matrix utility prior to switching everything to
"UEFI first" or disabling CSM, or they can be set up afterwards from inside the UEFI.
That eightforums guide has a million of unnecessary steps. Read my full reply to you on the guide thread here:

Sorry.... I put the OS I was using and all the components in my signature so that any hardware or OS issues would be available w/ having to refer back to original message. As for the implication, perhaps I should have said "inferred". I didn't see it mentioned anywhere in the guide and for whatever reason wound up with the impression that, using this method, this step was no longer required.

So whats the concensus on this board? Are there any pieces of hardware that its NOT compatible with? Im about to build my system now, seriously thinking about ordering this board.

Also how is the audio? This is a biggie for me, prefer not to have to buy a separate audio card, and am willing to spend the extra coin IF the audio is in fact superb. Any reviews or tests officially ONLINE on this board including how good the audio is? Id like to know what the dynamic range and THD is on the audio. Can't seem to find any DECENT reviews on this board yet............

Also, has the stepping issue been resolved? Any quirks with this board? Will probably be running dual video cards and dual SSD's in Raid 0 using a single monitor setup only running the display port(144hz monitor).

    GIve me the word! =D

I don't know if this will help you, but here is a post from me looking at audio benchmarks for this board:

Set the Windows power plan to balanced instead of high performance.
