Hi,

I'm receiving the Q-code 00 on my board, it does not post.
does not even go trough the check lights for cpu, ram or anything just powers up and powers down then all the fans and led start turning on and off again.

setup
1X NZXT Hale82 Modular Netzteil - 850 Watt
4x 4GB Corsair Dominator GT Series DDR3-2133, CL9
2x Western Digital Green, SATA 6G 1TB
1x Kingston HyperX 3K Series 2,5 SSD 240GB
1x NZXT Phantom 630 Big-Tower
1x ASUS GeForce GTX 770 Direct CU II D2CO
1x Intel Core i7-4770K 3,5 Ghz
1x ASUS Maximus VI EXTREME, Intel Z87
EK watercooling on cpu,ram and vga

I have tried so far
remove all RAM and put one back in the black slot closest to cpu
remove all harddrives and ssd's and put one hdd back in sata port 1
switch between 8 and 4 pin cpu power
check cpu pins, they where okay
flash bios to newest version
reset cmos
cpu with stock cooler, 1 RAM, 1 HDD no vga

and yet I still receive the 00 code

any suggestions?

I had the exact same problem as you, but in my case it was the power cable from the PSU that was causing issues. Check that the mobo is drawing sufficient power. Also your performance RAM might stop the mobo from booting initially, do you have some regular (1333) RAM available to test, before setting the XMP profile for the higher speed memory?

If not, you might want to look through my thread (almost the same title as yours too) for some useful tips from some of the regulars here.

Good luck!

Get the PSU checked professionally as well if you have a burnt out capacitor.
