G75VX or G750JW

Hello guys, I have the option to get either one for the same price.
I have the G750JW at the moment, and for some reason that I can't find a fix for the processor runs only at .77ghz(never any faster) on battery.
I checked out a G75VX in store today and on battery it ran at a normal speed, jumping between 1.23 ghz to 2.8ghz that I saw.
So my question is, is the G75vx possibly better? I know it can actually run reliably on battery...

Wow, I didn't read about that bug, haven't witnessed it myself yet but I only use the 1 usb for the wireless mouse. Thank you for the reply.

The WEI shouldn't be taken very seriously. Haswell is a more powerful microarchitecture. 🙂

We customize Asus, MSI, and Clevo laptops!

Bump, need help deciding which to keep since If i return this one its the same price as the g75vx and so its basically sacrificing the battery power for the newer graphics card and processor...

If you need your laptop to perform on battery at all then G750JX is a no-buy.

Unless ASUS fixes 800MHz-on-battery issue. Which doesn't look likely since they don't even want to acknowledge the problem...
