I am seeing a marked improvement since downgrading to 314.07... Still having the issue with some games but not all and not as often. I do notice that if I have GPU Tweak running I am more likely to get a crash?

I still have not done a custom OC.. gonna try to do that toinight.. I will keep you posted..

    Cool beans...improvement..

GPU tweak lasted about 5 minutes on my system....nothing but problems.

Afterburner or Precision X much better....

OK so the 314.07 drivers have definitely made it possible to play games again, my system is not black screening on every game anymore.

Next I wanna ask about this ****:

I have attached some images of an issue I am having with skyrim:

sometimes when I am out in the exterior I get these random rays of color flying all over the place, they seem to originate from a specific point off in the distance and if my camera is pointed away they are not there; if my camera is pointed at them they can sometimes turn the screen black or full with with color.. It happens intermittently and in no specific spot on the map..

It is always a different location, my GPU's have never gone over 71C. I monitor them always.

I have the Direct Cooling Asus cards and they are in a Cooler Master HAFX 932 Case, so heat is under control.. Something I do wonder is if this is because of those 320.18 drivers that were trashing cards..

Any ideas about what could cause this crap?

Have you cleared CMOS yet and set up your own OC? If not that would be your best bet for a cleanish start. If you can do it painlessly I would consider a fresh OS install if you haven't already....

How are you getting those temps?Do you have OSD? can you view memory usage when this happens? could be using full 2GB VRAM? does it happen with one card only? Also does it happen if you downclock cards?

I have not done my own OC just yet..

I have re installed the OS once already since I built the system.

I have not done a test using only one card or with SLI disabled, was planning on doing that as my next step.

I have not down clocked my cards. I removed AI Suite and GPU Tweak from my system..

I have been using SPM while playing skyrim to monitor the system:

Hmmm that does look like you are regularly maxing out your VRAM....do you notice FPS drops or anything else or just the psychedelia?

Are you using mods that eat up vram?

I get FPS drops but they are usually correlated with UGRID loads and spinning the camera around quickly or when I am in areas of the map with high LOD demands.. I run the game with HD texture modifications which is very common for this game. Very rarely are they massive drops (below 28 FPS) and they are not correlated with crazy light tearing at all...

You might need to increase the voltage to your Vrams mate they are working really hard. Or down clock them, that will have some impact to the FPS however.
To help us help you - please provide as much information about your system and the problem as possible.

Sorry I missed your second question, I would say yes that I am using mods that would put a heavy load on the VRAM. I use ENB (Real Vision From Nexus) and several HD 4K texture mods..

By increasing voltage to VRAM do you mean to the card as a whole or to the VRAM specifically using something like the KEPLER bios tool?
