Hello.
A week ago I bought the Asus G53SX and I love it. BUT,
where is the naked eye 3D software?
how do I activate it?
I saw on some YouTube videos that they were using a software named "SuperD". I went to the site, searching Google, and I couldn't download it, in any way.
how do I get the software?

Same problem here. I have only 2 questions. I have ASUS G53SX with 120hz 3d display. Im sure its capable of playing naked eye 3d. My question is:
1. Where to get this naked eye software, and how to enable it?
2. I dont have the 3dtv play software. Installing driver from nvidia website is not allowed. How to get t?
3. Not related to 3d, but i've heard that the asus logo on the lid is backlit. How do i enable it?. Keyboard is backlit fine but not the asus logo on the back.

Thanks.

Are you sure the G53SX comes in only 2 different versions?
Because I am still trying to get the naked eye 3d to work on my model, as my screen is 1366x768 maximum resolution.

Do you know if there is a G53SX model that comes with a regular crappy screen that I would be the proud owner of? 😄

Probably more than 2 versions...

I have seen a G53sx-A1 with 1920x1080 screen...I think there is an A1 something with a Blu-Ray drive to...And the 1366x768 version which should be the Naked eye 3D model...

from Gliptor's link I saw this:
Display 16" 16:9 HD (1366x768) / HD 3D (1366x768 120Hz) / Full HD (1920x1080) LED Backlight

You might own the first one.
I was thinking of picking up a decked out version of the A1 from xoticpc but now having second thoughts. I really wanted the 3D feature to use with my EVO 3D.

Hello,

I also have an Asus G53 and my resolution is 1366x768 however I don't understand how to activate the naked eye 3d option.

It seems there is no switch.

Can you help?

Thanks much !

I have the G53sx-a1-cbil and was hoping for Naked Eye 3D. I don't have it inherent on this laptop. I was hoping an update would enable this feature for me. I've found a BIOS update in the laptops driver section in asus support. It says it contains a VGA update which enables the Naked Eye 3D feature. I will try it out tonight and cross my fingers. I've had a TERRIBLE time finding the model number of the G53sx which definitely does have Naked Eye 3D technology in it. Anyone who has the clear cut info on what G53sx features are for different models please post! Thanks and I hope the BIOS update works for both of us 🙂 - Gliptor

Hi Gliptor. Its not the BIOS update. I have the latest version 203. And still nothing. Anyone found any solution, please post here. ASUS should really at least provide a manual for this thing.

I did some checking and it appears my screen is 60hz, so I'm begining to think that I have neither the Full HD screen nor the Naked Eye screen but only a regular 60hz screen...
I'm still happy with the laptop, it's quite powerful and runs the games I like smoothly but I really don't like this promotion technique. When I bought the computer it was clearly written in the product description that it had naked eye 3D.
I'm not sure I'll buy Asus again in the future...
