Hi,

Im after a replacement LVDS cable (screen to motherboard) for my G75vw (non 3d). Sorry i dont know much about these cables, do i need a particular one for this notebook or are they standard cables i can just replace? Any links to where i can buy one online?

LVDS cable is emitting a signal from MB to LCD, if you don't care, you can connect with HDMI or VGA to connect with external monitor, if you want to replace, i suggest you send to asus seriver center to replair.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah im currently using the hdmi to run the comp in the meantime but would obviously like the screen to work.

The damage was a by-product of the motherboard blowing itself up, ive since replaced that but now just need to replace the cable.
