Ya, I am quite surprised how much there is to set for the Intel system, will take some time, my last (private) Intel was a 200 MMX... ha
I gonna have some time tomorrow, and 3x 4770K to play with - but from the looks of the UEFI I won't get too far I guess.
My 4770K today does 4.4GHz stable (39 ring, pretty much auto everything, 1333RAM), just went through IntelBurnTest. Got the feeling I can get better than that. Tomorrow, I will spend some time to see how my and the two other 4770Ks I borrowed will compete against each other.
Other than that, it seems a bit faster than my 4.8GHz 8350, so that's good.

Best thing though, no single crash since I changed the board ha, epic!

    I actually tested 4 different 4770K today, 2x L315B, L314B, L312B.
None of them is the golden goose, the 314 and 312 are quite ok, stock VIN lower 1.0xx volts, the 315's were not that great stock VIN 1.1v.
But nothing like 0.9xx unfortunately. The 314 is good for 4.7 GHz, the 312 is good for 4.6GHz - bearing in mind that I have pretty much no clue what I need to do on this Intel platform
Ah, and I tested with 2400MHz RAM - I skipped the 1333MHz but I wouldn't run that in real life anyway - don't really care if the CPU can do 0.1 more if I need to clock my RAM down that much.
Need to find a detailed n00b guide, won't have the time to tweak much as of next week...

kaefers - mate there is so little to actually clock with Haswell. The ASUS auto settings are pretty much what you need for all but three bios options.

Do not over think the whole process

The fact of the matter is you have a 4.7GHz OC and that is above average for the processor. Your ram is running at 2400MHz. So my question is what more do you actually want because most certainly you have one of the top end systems as it stands.
To help us help you - please provide as much information about your system and the problem as possible.

    hehehe noted.
Just a wee bit fine tuning, that's all, input voltage, ring is not 1:1 yet / looks like it won't be possible, stuff like that
This chip won't do much more, I get quite high temps already.
