z87 board for 2-way sli (air cooled) and a soundcard

    hi,

what would be a good asus mobo for two way sli with gtx 770s and a essence st soundcard. I was looking into the maximus hero, but i i think if i were to put in two gpus and soundcard it would compromise the cooling of the gpus, maybe i'm wrong if so please correct me :) and if not please recommend me something else, preferably atx.

hero or formula, cooling of the GPU's will be the same what ever mobo you use.
i would say its the airflow in the case, mabye a fan on the door of the case.
the formyla have a opamp ( if i dont remember wrong ) a 600ohm amp on the board.
take a look on the specs of them and see.

the rampage IV formula is x79 chipset , mate i think you were drunk when you wrote your post, your a guru after all, and you recommended x79 chipset for someone who is looking into z87. I will probably look into the formula because it looks awesome

Budget is key to what you decide on here.

The formula is a peach of a board.

But the Hero will do the job too.

LMAO I thought you needed a board-cpu-ram and suggested the X79 route cause there is a new cpu dropping for it. but for the z87 I would go with asus or gigabyte see which board has the room to accommodate those big cards lol
