    wait.... phone?

The ROG cable is standard usb to standard usb, I don't know of phones with that port. can you use the normal mini usb cable that would plug into the typical smart phone? And if so, is there an android app?

I have used ROG Connect alot.

It's very handy when extreme OCing on LN2.
It allows me to apply different settings a lot faster than constantly rebooting.
Reboots at LN2 temps require warming the pot up to the cold boot bug temps, then dropping down to bench temps afterwards.

Well, I had it at the moment of birth, apparently passed along from my grand parents, to my parents, to me... Nature is a beeatch, but seriously, I have read tons of threads on LN cooling, and every time, it's a collision of conventional physics with mad science and healthy dose of improbability, and it damn works! however, I think it's really cool to do this, and bench numbers up trough the roof, but what is application use for such systems, if any?

As far as practical applications for general use, there are none.
I like to compare overclocking to drag racing. Is there a practical application to shoehorning a 5000 HP engine into a 1000 LB chassis (rough guess), and launching it through the 1/4 mile in about 3 seconds? No, but it's so friggin much fun. LOL
