Air cooler for this motherboard?
Can anyone recommend a good air cooler thats easy to install for this board? Would I have to remove the backplate? I'm still a newish to PCs and would like to overclock my cpu. I don't think the stock cooler will cut it. My case is the NZXT H440 and my ram is G skill trident Z RGB, so hopefully I won't have clearance issues. Oops I thought this was in the crosshair hero vi forum.

Crosshair 6 Hero? I suppose you want to cooldown VRM.
I think VRM on Crosshair VI Hero is capable to resist Ryzen processors.
If you are newbie you need only to read about overclocking CPU, don't need to worry about VRM heat only to pay attention on voltage.
Did you check temps in AIDA64 under sensors? PCH, VRM, Motherboard temps??? Did you saw high temps in some software or heat sink is hot on touch.
Avoid to touch motherboard while work if you are newbie, special VRM section, chokes and caps.
