SSD Samsung 840

Hi Everyone,

I just purchased G750-JX model. It came with HDD 750GB of 5400rpm. I would like to get an SSD Samsung 840 250GB for my laptop as an upgrade. But if I were to move my windows 8 to the SSD or rather clone my entire HDD to the SSD, do I just use the ASUS Backtracker or do I have other better freeware to use?

In addition, I would also like to ask if I need to configure any bios setting in order to unleash the real speed of SSD with windows 8 or anything?

End result I hope to achieve is that my HDD will be my 😧 drive just for my movies and stuff and my SSD would be my primary hard disc and my game storage.

Thanks

Hello! I bought Samsung ssd 840 pro for my laptop. There is an app called Samsung data migration (it's easily downloaded from the official site). It does everything itself, nothing else needs to be done, it works from the very go.
Hope this will help.
