Official Rampage IV Black Edition X79 Thread

Some weeks ago I listed mine on ebay for 250$ from Hungary, I only had issue with Win10, it had a lot of BSODs, but it worked perfectly with win7 and win8.1.
I changed it back with the previous owner to my Asus P9X79, now I try to sell my P9X79. There's a guy who wants to buy it for 50000HUF (about $165) because his computer can't see some of his memory.

As far as windows 10 pro, I had zero problems. Did a fresh install of windows 10 pro using BIOS 0801(not upgrade from previous versions), then used the updated BIOS from Sparkyboy006. Was super happy

Thank you very much! X79 was and still is fantastic, but these motherboards are starting to die, a lot of them are already dead.
When the cheap mainstream can do the same in performa and if you can sell your cpu, motherboard and ddr3 for a good price then it's time to step to a ddr4 platform.
Something was wrong with that motherboard and I could not figure out. There was a drop of thermal paste in the cpu socket and I cleaned that out as much as I could, I tried everything, turning off C states, install drivers, flash bios, still nothing. Sometimes it was stable for up to 24hours, then a bsod, followed by many in an hour.
