This motherboard is a work of art all by itself .. simply stunning.
And as a bonus it is tweaked out over what we have seen from the original IV extreme ???
I can't wait to see the comments and scores come rolling in ... c.

WOW ! Wasn't expecting that .. although, lol, it is from Shamino .. It will be interesting to see what humble mortals
will do with it as well ... but Yikes. Limits are repeated smashed at what seems light speed cycles now. crazy stuff.
Meanwhile back at the pond, AMD is still baiting the hook. sigh.
Thanks Detleg.c.

Also new records for 3DMark 11 entry and performance, 3DMark Firestrick, Cinebench, CPU-Z memory benchmark and XTU. There may be more by now.

Looks like if you were to watercool the VRM'S, you will have to remove the cover that says "Rampage IV Black Edition" due to being connected by a heat pipe?
Looks as the EZ-Plug has been changed too. Now only 1 molex connector on the bottom edge of the board?

Okay. ****.
I'm sold. I'm serious. I already have everything set up to purchase my Haswell for the Final Build and now they come out with THIS? Not to mention that G.Skill came out with 15 or so of their Quad-Kit RAM series. Both of my favorite brands including Intel's Ivy-Bridge-E processors. I'm done. Just gotta shift two or three things I don't need from my list and pour that cash on these new babies.
Asus. Please post the price and release date. That's all I need to adjust my build.

Can't believe I just read that. Rampage IV "insert model here" needs to do something to compete with EVGA Dark? LOL. EVGA's original X79 line-up could barely even OC. It's nice that they include nice features, but they forgot the part about the boards actually functioning.
EVGA is a couple of phenomenal generations of motherboards away from even being mentioned in the same breath as Asus ROG boards. I love EVGA as equally as I love Asus ROG, but that's just the cold hard truth.

I thinks thats why we are in here, and not at the other forum..
In the end, like you say. ROG stand tall when it comes to some of the features......
get a Asrock or a Gigabyte equivalent, and compare..Last edited by Rockford; 09-11-2013 at 09:05 PM.
