Hello all.

are asus working on a new Bios for the IB-E on Rampage IV Extreme?

The oc you can do on this bord is really, bad.

cant get stabil at 4.7Ghz, even temps are max 52c under load, but on my friends evga bord I can!!

Will asus fix this or will I need to sell my mortherbord and get a evga?

Thx!

Nicklas0912,
There have been many over clocking records set on the RIVE with the IB-E, look for bios 0020, if you can't find it let me know and I will send it to you.

Try this One.

Rampage-IV-Extreme-ASUS-4501

Rampage-IV-Extreme-ASUS-4501-12.7-Intel-OROM

It's a Top Secret Bios 😉 Don't ask. just use and STFU 😉

the 4403 is working well with the 4820k but I wouldn't mind experimenting to get lower voltage at 5ghz

will that 4501 work on the RIVGene?

Its just for the Extreme, just try it on the Gene. You can flash it back if it dosent work. 😉
The PCH Fan will move on 70°C

cool I'll give it a go... still I am trying to bring my vcore down at 5ghz, I am hitting the high 1.5's but the IB-E will still run my 2133 ram at 2400mhz there. How do I get the vcore down in the bios? I am only adjusting the multi and dram speed with the figures I've stated.

thanks man for any tips 🙂
