ASUS gaming monitor thread?

Why is there no thread dedicated to the ASUS gaming monitors?

ASUS produce some kickass monitors and this is THE place to be talking about them...IMO.

Like the 144Hz range...such as the VG278HR which incorporates the "GamePlus" feature.
(Not available in Australia for some strange reason so I have to buy it from overseas for $1,000.)

Just thought I'd start the topic off...as a G75VX owner the VG278HR is a monitor I am very keen to get my hands on for BF4.

Cheers,

Mech.

I plan on getting the 24 inch version 144hz soon. It has some great reviews.

I wish the 144HZ monitor had some ROG on it and had some red and black highlights.

I ❤️ my Asus VG278H 27" 3D 120Hz monitor (bought before the 144Hz version came to market, but I'm quite content with 120)

I'm actually not a huge fan of the built-in 3D Vision controller, but the monitor portion of the monitor is first rate (and worlds better than my previous Samsung)
Asus RIVBE • i7 4930K @ 4.7ghz • 8gb Corsair Dominator Platinum 2133 CL8
2xSLI EVGA GTX 770 SC • Creative X-Fi Titanium • 2x 840 SSD + 1TB Seagate Hybrid
EVGA Supernova 1300W• Asus VG278H & nVidia 3d Vision
Phanteks Enthoo Primo w/ custom watercooling:
XSPC Raystorm (cpu & gpu), XSPC Photon 170, Swiftech D5 vario
Alphacool Monsta 360mm +6x NB e-loop, XT45 360mm +6x Corsair SP120

I really want to upgrade to a 27"+ monitor and 2560 x 1440 but there really isn't one built for gaming that I have found. There are some great 27" monitors but not with 2ms response time and 120 mhz they have 6+ ms response times.

The one that I was kinda thinking about was Samsung Series 8 S27A850D 27in but still on the fence, I would get the ASUS VG278H 27in in a second if it was 2560x1440 and not 1920x1080 which is just not sharp enough for a 27" monitor in my opinion.

Come on asus make a 27"+ monitor with 120mhz and 2560x1440 2ms and watch them fly off the shelves
