    Maximus V Gene, BIOS 1903.

Does the new 1903 BIOS for MVG contain updated firmwares for the RAID/Network controllers?

    Thanks.

For M5F it's Intel RST 11.5.0.1582. I'm moving to AHCI for now with my sandforce ssds...

1903 has no new RAID BIOS for the MVG and with this update the FSB now runs at 96.5Mhz instead of 100MHz. Seems like they screwed something up. 1802 worked fine, going back to that.

DarkjeThe2nd, could you do me a huge favor and run CPU-Z on your system and let me know what your Bus Speed is running at?
Mine runs under at 96-98MHz for some reason even though the setting in BIOS is untouched at 100 MHz.
I'd really appreciate knowing what others are now running at.

I always set for 100.5 and it's at it now, but I suppose you meant the one I get with auto, I'll check it out and report back.

ok, normally I just set manually for 100.5, I did now and it's exactly there, but I also looked after clr-cmos and only setting up the fans-alert, raid, and frontpannel mode, and mem v,speed&timings and it's at 100.52 too.

I'm now back at my normal allday settings, 16-46x 100.5 at offset -0.005, eist and c1e enable. c3,c6,cstate disable. ppl-ov on, llc one under max.

seems to be doing exactly as it should for me?

DarkjeThe2nd, thank you very much, really kind of you.
Not sure what is wrong then with mine. Just pulled the CMOS battery as for some reason the CMOS reset switch at the back was doing nothing.
Just booted back in and still low bus speed. I wonder if Windows 8.1 has anything to do with it? Nothing changed other than an OS upgrade and a move from 1802 to 1903. Not sure which caused what...
