Hello! New member here, although I have been reading these forums for quite some time now.
I've been troubleshooting my GSOD issues for almost two years now. I have flashed the BIOS and vBIOS, here are the versions:
BIOS 211 vBIOS 012.020.000.032.0383.G730
The vBIOS update worked like a charm for a while, but eventually the GSOD came back. I've tried several driver versions, with little luck. I'm currently running Catalyst 13.2. My most recent OS reinstall was within the last 4 months, hasn't helped. I do clean my fans out frequently, and my GPU temps are usually normal no matter if I'm gaming or just browsing, the laptop isn't hot when it crashes, either. I downloaded ThrottleStop recently in case C-state may have been the problem, doesn't make a difference.
More about the crash: It sometimes hangs and plays that awful audio stutter loop others have experienced with GSOD. Other times the screen will go black, audio will remain normal and functional, then straight to a GSOD, which looks like this:
Based on what was on the screen it will sometimes be a different color, although same pattern. The audio then cuts off shortlyafter. This will happen mostly when I am gaming, 20 minutes in or even 2 hours in, although it can happen when I'm just browsing the internet. I usually reboot, but sometimes if I wait a little, it will bluescreen. I ran BlueScreenViewer and came up with this:
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, I'm quite stumped at this point, and I just want to game without the burden of these random GSOD crashes.
